History & Tradition

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School opened in 1964. The Sisters of Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacraments served in many of the first teaching positions. The school has celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 1989 and its 50th anniversary in 2014. The school is fully accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department, recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association. The school is an environment of family traditions. The third generation of several parish families are currently enrolled. The school maintains its rural heritage with updated educational services.
