Early Childhood is an important developmental stage. It is vital that an Early Childhood program is solid in its approach as it lays the foundation for all other academic levels.
Our Early Childhood program includes Pre-K3/4 for three and four-year-olds. There is also a separate class for Kindergarten, 5-year-olds. Students receive age-appropriate attention for their academic needs. Socialization and independence skills are emphasized throughout all three levels. Students are guided through experiential learning and are introduced to preliminary academics as they advance through the program.
Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 Full Day Program
We offer a full-day Pre-Kindergarten program for 3 and 4-year-olds. Our curriculum focuses on social development through play and centers on a safe and nurturing environment. Class size is limited and there is a teacher’s aide in the classroom. Students receive daily instruction in Reading, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. They also receive daily instruction from specialty teachers in Physical Education, Art, and Music. Students also visit our Library’s Reading Center once a week to check out books and develop a working knowledge of literary concepts. Our teachers focus on small group instruction to better reach all students in the classroom.
