Mrs. Powell joined our faculty in 2024.  Her academic journey has been quite diverse and fulfilling. She holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, and an Associate of Arts in Biology. Each of these degrees has played a significant role in shaping her understanding of both science and technology.

She has 11 years experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. In this role, she not only refined skills in laboratory techniques but also developed a deep interest in technology. Working with advanced medical equipment and data systems has opened her view to the incredible potential of technology in science and education.

Making the leap to teaching technology felt like a natural progression for her. She is passionate about integrating technology into education and is excited about the opportunity to inspire students to explore and embrace the rapidly evolving world of tech. Her goal is to equip them with the skills they’ll need in our digital age.

When I’m not working, she loves spending time with her family. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 13 years, and they have two amazing sons who are also students here at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.  She is really looking forward to making a positive impact on all our students and contributing to their educational journey here at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.
