Our Council
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School Advisory Council is an advisory group to the school principal and pastor. Constituents are made of its leaders and five active members. The pastor, Father David Harris, and the school principal, Mrs. Marissa Morales, preside over the board. Members are chosen through discernment.
Members include a parishioner, past parent, current parent, retired teacher/parishioner, business leader, and current special needs therapist from another school district.
Duties
The primary duties include making recommendations around policy, identifying and articulating the educational needs and aspirations of the school and school community, achieving enrollment goals, and financial stability, and engaging in long-range strategic planning.
Meeting Times
The board meets Quarterly and members also meet in workshops to assist in the development and review of essential activities, including long-term strategic planning.
