Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School participates in the annual Steps 4 Students fun run to raise money for Catholic Education. It has been a great opportunity to be one of our major fundraisers for our school.  All proceeds raised help to support our school and its goals.

What is it? Steps for Students is a 5K run/walk fundraiser that benefits all 59 schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Registration typically opens in October. 

When is it? SAVE THE DATE for Saturday, February 11, 2023. The race will begin at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and wind through downtown streets on a marked 3.1-mile course. 

Why register? Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School receives a portion of every registration that is linked to our school. Each registered participant will have an online fundraising page.  Our school receives 100% of the funds raised on an individual’s fundraising page.  

Who can participate? Sign the whole family up! This event is open to all who wish to register and run/walk the 5K. There is also a “snooze for students” option for those who do not wish to participate in the run/walk but want to support our school and get the Archdiocese’s official race day t-shirt!

When can I register?  Registration begins on August 15, 2022.

In Support of - Also, in support of Steps 4 Students, our school holds a Color Run on school grounds which is scheduled for February 17, 2023.  Color Run donations are processed through the Steps 4 Students website under Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School's "Hit the Snooze" link.
